Fw: Lifestraw Earth Day Event At Yippie Museum

Greetings All,

I haven't had much of a chance to reach out about all of the going's on recently, particularly since planting season is upon us...but this is PART of it.
This Friday (Earth Day)  Aton Edwards and the LifeStrawNow Coalition will be throwing an all day Preparedness/self-reliance/sustainable living fair/meet-up at the Yippie Museum & Cafe on Bleeker Street in NYC...from 11 AM to 11 PM.  It's a fundraiser for the space (it might close soon) we're hoping to keep it open.  However, it's also a great platform for LifeStraw NOW! as well.  If you are in NYC, I hope you can all attend and spread the word.  This event is preparation for a bigger event that will follow, and, a significantly much larger event scheduled for mid June.  Here's the agenda:
  • The construction of geodesic & monolithic dome, super adobe, "nest egg" and other alternative homes.
  • Urban farming & gardening.  Hydroponic, aquaponic, aeroponic growing techniques.
  • Essential "must own" preparedness gear.
  • Survival strategies for a global economic crisis.
  • Self-defense & emergency first aid.
  • Holistic health & nutrition.  "When There Is No Doctor" strategies.
  • LifeStraw NOW 1,000,000 water filters for Haiti info & strategies & emergency water storage/filtration/purification methods.
  • 2012 solar max crisis event planning.
  • Emergency evacuation routes & Evac-U-Walk registration.
  • Threat assessment reports (regional, national & international)
  • Nuclear, Biological & Chemical terrorism (safety procedures, protocols).
Here's a flyer (for those that may not be able to see the post, please find the attached file)...
