Nelson George will screen selected clips from films about Malcolm X and discuss the challenges filmmakers faced in documenting and depicting Malcolm X on film and television. Legendary filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles will also be on the program sharing his reflections and recollections of an interview he did of Malcolm X in Paris not long before his assassination.
