This is an adaptation by Fabio Rubiano of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's story, "Chronicle of a Death Foretold." After marrying against her will, Angela Vicario's angry new husband returns her to her mother once he discovers she is not a virgin. Beaten by her mother, Angela is forced to name the man who deflowered her, prompting her brothers to undertake a murderous mission of revenge.
