Inner City's next day in bankruptcy court is a week from today. A New York bankruptcy court judge grants the petition of Inner City Broadcasting and its debtors to shorten the usual 14-day notice period so that they're back in court on October 20. Inner City now seems to be going along with the process strongly suggested by debtors Yucaipa, Fortress Credit and Drawbridge. The debtors jointly filed for a declaration of involuntary Chapter 11 (reorganization) on August 19, which was granted on September 8. The judge also authorizes the debtors to use the cash collateral of the Sutton family-run Inner City - owner of New York's WBLS (107.5), among other properties.
