In traditional Yoruba religion, singing is one of the main ways in which the Orisa and other spiritual forces are honored, invoked, and remembered.   Learn some of the traditional Yoruba songs used to worship some of the major Orisa in this lively and engaging workshop.   Learn the meaning and the correct  pronunciation of the songs to effectively worship the Orisa. 

In this workshop you will learn:
  • ·      Traditional Yoruba songs for various orisa.
  • ·      The translation of each song in English.
  • ·      The proper pronunciation of each song.
  • ·      The circumstances in which we sing to Orisa.

Included in this workshop will be a guide which includes all the songs as well as an audio cd of the songs.
