Harlem Earth Day

Celebrate the Earth, learn about nature, and discover Harlem anew this spring with the first Harlem Earth Day!
Harlem Park to Park Initiative, a community improvement association formed in 2009, has organized a fun and educational mix of free public programs in multiple locations between Central Park, Morningside Park and Marcus Garvey Park.
Everyone will find something interesting to do in this exciting line-up of programs including a Earth Day Celebration Concert and planting workshop, Kids Yoga classes, art installations and arts & crafts, catch & release fishing, an urban gardening workshop, storytelling and instrument making. Pick up a Treasure Map at any of the participating locations and collect a stamp at each station you are visiting.
