While our first anniversary of the opening of the National Museum of African American History & Culture is not until September 24th, 2017, we are celebrating a little early with a special release of limited passes for charter members. Today, Wednesday, August 9, at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern), we are opening our advance timed entry pass system for charter members who want to reserve passes for September and October 2017 to help us celebrate our anniversary. The special Charter Members-only webpage can be accessed at https://nmaahc.si.edu/chartermbrpass. Available dates will appear in bold. Dates not bolded indicate entry passes are no longer available. Passes are required for entrance into the museum and will continue indefinitely. Passes may be printed or displayed on a smartphone.
