Fox Sports Net Teams Up with NBA Players for TV Vignettes Honoring Black Fives Era Pioneers 

Fox Sports Net, in collaboration with the Black Fives Foundation, has produced a new series of film vignettes called Original Pioneers, that the network has begun airing on its NBA affiliate stations. A new $1,000 scholarship contest by our friends at the New York Historical Society Museum & Library, in celebration of The Black Fives Exhibition opening March 14, 2014. Jim Usry's 1946 New York Rens Professional Basketball Player Contract

A look at power forward Jim Usry's one-year exclusive renewable professional basketball player contract with the New York Rens, signed in 1946. The contract will be on display in the New York Historical Society Museum's upcoming Black Fives Exhibition, which opens March 14, 2014 and runs through July 20, 2014.
