The church is located on West Kinney between Prince and Broome Streets. Gilbert Edward "Gil" Noble was born February 22, 1932 and passed away on April 5, 2012. Gil Noble produced and hosted one of the first black public-affairs programs since 1968, "Like It Is", chronicling of current and historical events and personalities in which he secured the copyright to all of the "Like it Is" shows from the 1960s onward wanting them used to educate schoolchildren and interested adults.
