Public Relations Legend Ofield Dukes Dead at 79
Washington D.C. public relations legend Ofield Dukes died from multiple myeloman, a rare form of bone cancer, at the age of 79 in his hometown of Detroit.
The trailblazing founder of Ofield Dukes & Associates was the public relations go-to man for African and African American political figures, civil rights leaders, and entertainers, consulted with every Democratic presidential candidate since 1968 and counted Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross, to name a few, as clients.
